God gave the First Baptist Church of Central Florida a vision more than 30 years ago for Christian education. The vision of our founders has become the Central Florida Christian Academy of today. Our church has commissioned the school to exist to educate the student in the basic disciplines of learning but then also to develop a Christian worldview coupled with a deep sensitivity to the Spirit of God and the Word of God.
We believe that these days should be some of the greatest days of any student’s life. I hope that all of our students will enjoy school. There is much to enjoy: the close relationships with fellow students while building bonds that will last a lifetime; making some memories in drama, music, sports, and other activities; and most importantly, following Christ while in school.
As the pastor of the church, I will lead our school to have a culture that values our three most priceless resources: the students, the faculty, and the Holy Scriptures. We esteem the people of God has led here for us to educate and mature. We value the Holy Scriptures and teach them with authority and without apology. We treasure the faculty and staff God has assembled to touch the lives of these young people. Because of our convictions of the importance of every individual involved in the school and the Holy Scriptures, our culture will restrain those who seek to damage the lives of fellow students or faculty members. We will also expect from every member of the institution a high standard of love as we value one another and live by the truth.
