Central Florida Christian Academy (7th-8th Grades)

The middle school years mark a distinctly important time in a child’s development – physically, intellectually, socially, and even emotionally.

The Middle School at Central Florida Christian Academy creates an ideal environment for young learners in the seventh and eighth grades. With a well-balanced academic course load and a focus on the needs of the whole child, middle school students at Central Florida Christian Academy are perfectly prepared for future challenges in life and at school.

While there are many middle schools in Orlando, FL, the middle school faculty works closely with all students to ensure they develop a strong academic and spiritual foundation during their time at Central Florida Christian Academy. Middle school course work is divided into a cluster of key subjects, including – language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, Bible study, physical education, and an elective.

Central Florida Christian Academy’s math and science curriculum provides students with the means to become creative problem solvers and independent thinkers. The social studies curriculum is designed to empower civic awareness and promote good citizenship. The language arts program strives to strengthen reading comprehension and writing skills (including proper grammar, punctuation, and mechanics) through a combination of literature study and composition exercises. A daily focus on physical education helps instill a lifelong commitment to health and fitness in all children and encourages strong leadership skills.

Elective classes at Central Florida Christian Academy allow children the opportunity to explore a wide variety of interests, including chorus, art, and technology.

As a Christ-centered middle school in Orlando, FL, Central Florida Christian Academy also works with all children to help them realize their fullest potential as one of God’s creations. Consistent with this mission, middle school students are also taught to become compassionate, thoughtful, and respectful young adults through daily Bible study or chapel.
